Catalyst

Catalyst is a 12 month youth led programme supported by the International Fund for Ireland through its Personal Youth Development Programme (PYDP) which will positively impact upon young people from disadvantaged communities in North and West Belfast. This youth-led programme will provide an opportunity for young people to set their own agenda in relation to learning that is aligned to the PYDP approach, themes and relevant levels.

EnGage

EnGage aims to increase participation of NEET young people, particularly vulnerable subgroups of young disabled and immigrant, into VET by upskilling VET providers in effective engagement methodologies. Working with European partners EnGage has produced a multilingual, multicultural Train the Trainer toolkit for VET providers.

The upDESIGN project will equip education providers and their staff with innovative methods and tools for basic/employability skills delivery, entrepreneurial spirit and motivation training embedded in the thematic world of design and based on the idea of “upcycling” initiating processes where waste materials or “useless” products are converted into new materials or products of better quality.
