Eligibility

To take part in the Apprenticeships programme you need to:

  • have reached the minimum school leaving age in Northern Ireland (16 years)
  • be employed or be about to take up paid employment in Northern Ireland
  • be working a minimum of 21 hours per week on a permanent contract

You may need to meet other eligibility considerations, for example you may not be eligible if you’re a non-EU national, a public sector worker or already have a recognised vocational qualification.

What is an apprenticeship?

At Springboard, we offer Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships in Youth Work and Business Administration using a blend of practical learning and professional development designed to help you thrive in your chosen career. As an apprentice you will be a new or existing employee, in a Northern Ireland-based company, working with experienced staff to learn and develop your skills.

Youth Work
Level 2 and Level 3

Make a difference in your community. This pathway equips you with the skills to support young people, build relationships, and foster positive change. You’ll gain vocational qualifications while working alongside experienced youth workers.

Business Administration
Level 2

Step into the heart of organisational life. This apprenticeship prepares you for a dynamic role in business operations, from managing communications to supporting teams and systems. You’ll develop essential office skills and gain qualifications that open doors across industries.
