The programme supports civic and community leaders to build safe communities.  They will build understanding of the trigger issues which increase barriers, particularly in relation to intimidation and hate crime.

What is Challenging Prejudice?

Challenging Prejudice offered development opportunities for civic and community leaders from Derry/Londonderry and Strabane to build a community where division does not restrict life opportunities of individuals and where all areas are open and accessible to everyone.  The group participated in workshops exploring identity and difference, Holocaust Education and travel to Poland to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau.
